another dumb grille question

so i bought a GT bumper off of zak (zaksgt) and i was curious if i could use my v6 grille in there just for a few weeks probably, or enough time to get my bankroll up to buy a GT style grille? i know the GT grille is bigger than the v6 and i understand there would probably be gaps but would the v6 grille stay in there?

I'm pretty sure you need the gt grille. I've heard the gt style grille doesn't work if I'm thinking of the right one. Just look for a place like certifit or another replacement parts place. Or salvage yard. That'll work as a short term or even long term piece

My problem is I was gonna drive to fort worth (3 hour drive) install it then Drive back home another 3 hours I didn't know if I'd be able to put my v6 grill in there for the trip to keep as many bug out of the radiator as possible. I plan on getting a Bullitt grille afterwards sometime

There are a lot of GT grilles for sale on the classifieds and eBay and they are usually very affordable. Buy a GT grille until you can find a bullitt one. Then resale the GT one. good luck man. Post pics when you get it done.

There is a thread on modded mustangs that shows how to move your foglights behind a bullet style grille. It's a really good idea is I hadn't already installed mine.

I have a GT grille but not the fogs if you wanna buy that off me. All the clips are perfect, and the pony is perfect. I'm 30 minutes west of fort worth.
