American Muscle DD Bullitt quality questions.
Hi,
Are there realy that many quality issues w/ American Muscle's DD bullitts ?
I am looking to get a set of anthracite staggereds.
If Shelby Torq Trust M is a better way to go . Where is the best place to get them?
Thanks
Mike

I've had my DD Bullitts on for about 10,700 miles now and have had no problems. I actually bought them when American Muscle was Mustang Tuning. I got them in Sept of '05 and ran them in the summer until I moved down south and they have been on since March of '07. They still look really good and the Goodyears are holding up very well also. The only thing I regret is I bought them so early that I still have to run the spacer in the front because of the caliper.
I don't know if they have changed or not, but the ones I got were actually made by Verde. Here's a link:

That's right, I remember that...... the very first ones didn't quite clear. I can say that mine clear, but boy it is tight. No problems though, although at casual glance you'd be willing to bet that they would rub although they don't.
I bought mine when they were still under the old name as well, so I've had the rims for about 2 - 2 1/2 years now. The clear coat is starting to come off of 2 of the rims, not a big deal, but pretty ugly. Now, let's be totally transparent here, I've never polished them, put any sort of protectant on them, etc. so this may be my own doing. As far as the actual rims themselves, no vibration, look great and the price was right.
Now that the clearcoat is coming off, I'm thinking about going with some different rims, but it's just not a priority right now for me (see my signature for the reasons why
