Anyone heard of their availability from any aftermarket suppliers? IMHO, they're far safer and more informative than the blinking brake light. THANKS!

Not sure on how many indicators you are wanting to be amber, however, they are available as a single lens in the UK. It is the middle one of the three. See the link below from a UK forum, for contact details:

I have also attached a picture of what they look like. I think the inner light might be a fog light.

I couldn't agree any less, and as for being more safe?? HOW!?!? If you cannot see that it is blinking either on the right or left, then I think that you're unsafe to be driving.
