Amber fog lights on a GT

Does anybody know who sells an amber (yellow) H10 (9145-series) fog light bulb for the 05+ GT fogs?

I want my fogs to burn yellow, not white. Thanks for any leads.

I used the colored jells on mine, they can be removed easy for cleaning and if you want to change back to white.

Are you guys doing GT-class racing? I asked some of the folks that run the Grand America series why some of the cars have yellow film for the headlights/foglights. They said it was so the faster classes can identify the slower cars that they pass at night, and not for contrast/better visibility as some vendors claim.

any nighttime pics of the yellow bulbs in the clear lenses? curious how they look- as 'amber' as old school fogs, or just a super bright yellow tint?

Those would be cool. That would be a cheap mod.

I thought the only purpose to yellow lights(at least on the street) was for better visibility in the fog?

That is what I thought as well, but I contacted the Grand American Series directly to hear what they had to say.

I'm not racing, but we get a lot of fog and snow where I live and amber wavelengths cut through better and increase visibility, meaning the ability to be seen by others.

Pics would be nice to see.

In racing, it is to differentiate the slower class cars. For the street, they are for better visibility in the fog.

Sorry it took a bit, but here are some night pics. After some recent foul weather here (drizzle, fog, rain, sleet, etc.), I'm happy to report that they work great!

Against a solid white garage door, about 6 feet away...
