Another Astra Hammond pic...$229 shipped. Took nearly 2 weeks for delivery, but arrived in good condition.

It is my intention to have them painted gloss next week to match up with the hood and rear wing. Has anybody else tried painting these?

I just purchased these from amazon for 229 with FREE shipping. They are the same ones that others sell for 399 + shipping. They came in nice original packaging and are the actual ones shown here http://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/AST10612.htm

If the link doesn't work, just search amazon for astra hammond 10612
yep they are showing some in stock now

The ones that sold on ebay were actually the MRT ones, not the Astro-Hammond ones.I'm guessing the pics weren't correct? MRT is the only ones offering 2pc louvers currently. Final price ended @ 270, higher than what you can get the Astro-Hammonds ones for @ Amazon.

Does anyone make louvers that are hinged on top like the 69-70 type?

MRT/Visus are hinged. Thats the style I've got. Rousch has also recently come out with a set,I'm not sure if they're hinged or not. They are nice looking, but a bit pricey, I believe around 550-600.
Besides that, the Astro-Hammond ones are the only other aluminum ones offered now,they are not hinged.
Here's the Rousch ones;

I've seen lower prices on those.
MRT louvers;
