Aluminum Louvers for cheap

Didn't see a deal forum so here you guys go.

http://www.amazon.com/Astra-Hammond-...8&s=automotive

I just purchased these from amazon for 229 with FREE shipping. They are the same ones that others sell for 399 + shipping. They came in nice original packaging and are the actual ones shown here http://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/AST10612.htm

If the link doesn't work, just search amazon for astra hammond 10612

I thought the Astra-Hammonds were plastic? But then again, if they are, I wouldn't expect them to weigh 13 pounds.

That's the part number for the aluminum ones. Let me tell you, I'm not doubting Amazon, just be careful. You might not get the aluminum ones for that price. Some things are too good to be true. They'd have to buy a crapload of louvers just to give them away at cost for that. Let us know they were the right ones when you get it! If it is, that's an unbelievable deal!

If you follow that second link, the two other louvers that are pictured on that page are plastic, one textured, the other smooth. I don't think they make aluminum side ones though...

I received the aluminums. I can take pictures if anyone doubts it. I worried also that I wouldn't get the right ones. That is why I waited to post this until I received them.

Are these ones hinged like the MRT/Visus ones? The only photos I've seen of them don't show enough to tell.

No they are not. They have 4 screws that hold them down to your window and a lip on the top brackets.

Post some pics if you can. Am interested on their appearence.
I like the looks of them from the only pic I've seen.
Have to admit, I do like the hinges though,I end up cleaning my rear window after each wash.
