OK, just back from the tire shop. Alignment done and it turns out the tire were WAY off balance and had to be redone. So as of now problem solved. I did notice the washers you mentioned when the tires were off but the shake is gone nowand the washers are still in place.

 

Sweet, it was something simple that remedied the problem!!
