Agent47 Lower Grill is a nice accent
Just installed the Agent 47 lower grill. I didn't see too many pics of it on an otherwise stock looking car (i.e. stock upper grill and no front splitters/spoiler) so I thought I'd offer up a few. It's a great subtle accent that keeps the car looking mostly stock but makes it just a little more aggressive.
It has an aggressive appeal to it
I'm really not feeling it. It looks like its not placed right on the front end. If they had it recessed a bit it would look 100% better. I've seen a few pics and they all look like that unfortunately. Compare the photoshop I did on the driver vent to the passenger. If they could have done something like this it would flow with the front more and not look bulky.
My thoughts exactly. As much as I want to like it, it just isn't recessed enough. Had SHR built this, it'd be recessed just like the stock piece. Maybe it looks different in person. In pictures, they always look like they're half falling out.
There is a specific function to it, above the cosmetic look. Are you planning on installing the Agent 47 companion front brake cooling duct kit that goes with it? Sometimes we settle for less than perfect looks if the functional benefit is a major gain.
even if there is a specific function to it, i dont think it is necessary for it to look like it is going to fall out. what sort of gains could it possibly have by sticking out that extra 1/2 inch or so. i like the idea, just not the way it was made.
like darkfiregt said, if shr had done it, they would have done it right!
deric, love that photoshop. THAT is what it should have looked like.

I think if they asked for some public opinion during their intial phases of their product design they'd be more well recieved.
JMO.
+1 If it was completley recessed like the stock grill I'd have bought one already. That seems to be a problem with alot of their products. I know they're intended for the "hardcore" track guys but seriously what percentage of the mustang community really needs vortex generators, naca ducts?

In person, I'd say that most wouldn't even notice that the lower grill was changed out until someone pointed it out (your eyes don't naturally gravitate to the lower grill). So making it a little extra aggressive really wasn't a bad thing and I'm now glad it is that way. I really like it and think it looks better in person then the few pictures of it I was able to find.
I haven't purchased the rest of the brake cooling kit yet. I'd like to just so that I can tell folks that "it's functional" but that would make the whole kit really expensive for a "function" that I'm really never going to use (I don't race). IMO, this mod is really expensive for what you get but it was well worth it to me b/c I really really disliked the stock lower grill.
+1 - needs to be recessed
Here's a pic of mine painted body color. When I ordered it I didn't notice the part that sticks out and when I received it I too wished it had been flush. But once I got it painted and installed , I don't notice it so much and I like the way it turned out ...
