Agent 47 Mirrors

I just ordered a set of Agent 47 Mirrors. Anyone on here have a set and done an install? Just looking for any tips about it. It looks pretty cut and dry but there is always something that could have been left out of the instructions. Thanks

It's not difficult at all. I'm not even sure I looked at the instructions.

The one piece of advice I would give is to not drop any of the screws that mount the mirror housing to the door. I dropped one down in the door and had to pull the interior panel to get it out.

Ouch! I did that when installing my taillights. I dropped one of the nuts under all the stuff I did to my trunk (sub box , amps) and had to tear everything out to find it. That sucked!

Thanks for the post. Can't wait to get these installed.

+1 on it being simple as it is 3 nuts to remove the mirror assembly from the car, and then just a matter of transferring the motors and mounting studs to A47s. Did you order them painted?

No I am leaving them flat black. I have the black plastic louvers on the rear window so I think it will look ok. I may change my mind later who knows lol

That's good to know. I assume the OEM ones aren't real tight either?

I just installed mine about a month ago. Here's a simple, straight forward video. In the video he tells you to keep a firm grip on your nuts so they don't fall inside the door.

The install took about 30 mins for both sides. Very easy.

Put some mothers back to black on them, and the will have the glossy appearance that gives them a killer look. That's what I do for mine.

I installed the mirrors tonight. Too dark to shoot pics. Will post some tomorrow. My only complaint is, how much profit would they have given up to put threaded studs in the new mirrors? Removing the old and installing them in the new was the biggest pain.

It's a little late now but if you look at the end of the stud it's shaped so a very small socket fits over it (don't remember what size). I figured that out after it took me 5 mins to remove the first stud. LOL!!

Lol yeah I figured that out on the passenger side. I believe it's an 11/32 it made the second one a breeze. But it was just frustrating thinking about spending $200 + on a product and they couldn't include any hardware?

Thanks! I think they look pretty good as well. Definitely not as much mirror either, double checking my blind spots

Looks good! Yeah... it takes awhile to get used to the smaller mirror size.

I am envious though... You got the 20s and I stuck with 18s. Probably what I regret the most about my modifications. Your car looks great! Nice job!
