Actually on that torch red I think a little bit brighter more open spoke wheel like the Super Snake Alcoa wheels would be sick...

Just put the SHR lower grille on. I think it gives the CS bumper a much more finished look...

I don't know - every time I look at the rear, I think about how much better it would look with 285s or 295s hiding under there!

Big fat tires at the rear look great, but the downside is that you won't be able to rotate them.

Finally decided on wheels and tires and did what I said I wasn't going to do when I started: I bought black DD Bullitts. After all the cool, spokey 20" wheels I looked at, I decided that Bullitts help make the classic look of my coupe. And I could get a staggered set that I knew would fit perfectly.

Bought the Bullitts and tires from Cruisin Concepts and got the center caps from Late Model Restoration. Here's what I went with:

Front: 18"x9" black deep dish Bullitt wheels w/Nitto 555 255/45/18 tires
Rear: 18"x10" black deep disk Bullitt wheels w/Nitto 555 285/40/18 tires

Factory 235s vs the Nitto 285s:

Looks awesome.

If I'd have known you could have bought my old black bullitts. Oh well.

Normally I wouldn't like black on the red that much, but I think with the white stripes it looks really good.

Plus its all very shiny too. I like the fuel door too. Nice touch.

Thanks man. Yeah, the tires are a bit shiny. Tried a new product and I think it's more "wet" than I really wanted.

What did you use?

I use that Meguiars purple stuff. Smells like grape kool aid. I'm always tempted to drink some.

I used Tire Black gel. I'll look into the Meguiar's stuff - thanks for the recommendation. I dig shiny tires, but I think this is a bit over the top.
