Just got back some parts from the platers and installed them along with the new blue filter for my blue CF intake. I think the blue filter looks far better on the blue car than red and works the same. Most of the caps are from UPR who does nice machine work but refuses to offer a chrome finish. The oil and radiator caps are MGW which come already chromed. I will not use polished aluminum in the engine comparment as it will not stay shiny on a daily driver.

 

Very Nice did you send the UPR Strut caps out to be chromed?

This is what i have been thinking about doing myself since I also do not want the polished.

Yes, had the UPR caps and the strut brace plated locally. UPR made the strut caps, A/C caps, power steering, brake fluid and windshield washer fluid caps.
