My wife called a little earlier tonight. My panel arrived! Will be putting it on this weekend, after waking up the car from it's winter hibernation. Pics will follow. Christmas DOES come early!

After we both get them installed, we'll have to recreate this shot sometime (my car and Paul D's last summer)
I just caught the two page color article on the SilverHorse panel in the new Mustang Enthusiast magazine. All I can say is I'm glad I ordered mine before that was published. I suspect you guys are going to be flooded with orders generated by that story.

Already have been!
Looks like we will be able to afford to bring product #2 to market sooner than we thought!
Thanks everyone!

I think it's the flush louver replacement for quarter window glass mentioned here:
http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?showtopic=40428
I can't wait for these to come out.

Mine showed up 10 minutes ago (I was amazingly home on a rare lunch break)
Naturally despite the 15 degree temps, I had to un-cocoon my 'vert long enough for a test fitting. All I can say is holy (language filter overload)! does this look great on torch red.
I am about 110% thrilled. The fit is perfect, and the photos only capture part of the "real world" effect. Great work!

Fuel doors, made on true 3D CNC equipment, not stamped, pressed, or otherwise whacked out. I'll release them this weekend once the pictures are right to show the detail on them. GT will be first, we will also have a non-GT part out within a few more weeks.
I was hesitant to do them, but when I saw the finished piece, even I was impressed. It is MUCH better than anything on the market right now, and we will, as usual, make the best part we can, and do it at a price that makes it competitive with lesser products from other suppliers.

looks great, id look into one if i wasnt doing stripes, looks like a good quality piece too, is it really hard? or is it fairly squishy or bendable?
[/quote]
It's flexible enough that it won't be prone to cracking/shattering, but not "squishy'
I'm doing some preliminary pictures as I type...
As to the "squishy"...
The panel is made from automotive-grade outdoor rated plastic. It does have a good degree of flexibility, but I wouldn't recommend using it as the arch for a bow and arrow set!
Seriously, it's designed to have plenty of "give" but it is by no means a soft part. That, and given the reinforcement channels that run the perimiter and center of the part, it is quite rigid for plastic, while still allowing for variances here and there.

Look on page 10 for the new pictures.
We will also be releasing them shortly in polished and in chrome, but don't have pricing info on those yet from all the people involved (lots of hands in this one to do it right)
This part is over 1/4" thick in spots, and really pictures we have so far do not do it justice.
I'm going to borrow a friend's macro lens tomorrow and see what I can do for everyone.
I know these aren't for everyone, but if you're going to do a fuel door, I'd say you would be hard pressed to beat this one. And yes, as usual, I've already looked at the compeition, both domestic, and from abroad / overseas. Most do not compare, especially the Canadian piece being offered currently. (no offense to my many Canadian customers, just I've seen that part in person, and this isn't anywhere near the same part, except in function alone)
Oh, and as always.,,,
Designed, manufactured, and finished in the USA, using only the best procedures and materials available.
Highlights:
Machined on mutliple CNC machines to produce proper finish and consistent quality.
Anodized in black or clear to protect the alimunim from oxidation.
Stainless hardware spec'ed out for all non-aluminum parts.
Easy installation, factory fit and contours, no radiused / bent parts, just clean surfaces left by the CNC as the part is rotated in it.

Nice
First one I've seen with a defined bend at the comtour line on the body (the others I've seen look a little "soft" there.
I do believe I'll be in on one of these as soon as the "non-GT" version appears

The bend is one of the keys to this. I didn't like press-braking the aluminum, as 6061 does not bend well. To bend, you need to use 5052 or other soft alloys, and it still doesn't look quite right, especially since Ford made that corner pronounced.
As to the non-GT pieces, probably just another week or two. I want to do some with our logo as well, but it wouldn't show up well on the brushed silver part because I want to use a laser to engrave it. Now on the black....
Gents,
I received my part today. I just want to tell everyone how completely satisfied I am with this panel. We all love our cars but...with all the hype around the new mustang model there is a ton of junk being produced. I like many are willing to pay for quality well engineered parts. I think silverhorse racing will have no problem being a premier mustang parts supplier...Thanks to Marcello for a great part. My family who thought I was insane for buying this car will see her for the first time this christmas. Now my mistress is ready ;>
CheerS!!!!!
