I'm looking at adding the C stripe from the 69 Boss mustangs to my 07, and was wondering if anyone had good measurements of the stripe on an S197 style car?

I've found some good reference photos from the 69-70 style thread, but was hoping to get something more exact for my painter.

I've got the 69 style C Stripes on mine,but they are Graphics Express' kit. they differ slightly from the original 69 stripes,do you want measurements from this kit?

What's different about it compared to the 69 stripes? Most of the ones I have seen look like yours.

Do you want measurements on my style stripes?

 

Ok, I see the differences now. Yes, I'd still appreciate measurements of yours as it will be a great way to lay it out on the car. The parts I'm most interested in are the thicknesses of the stripe at various points, and the spacing between the stripe and the pinstripe.

The front vertical part is 5 3/4" wide.The lower stripe is 1 1/2" wide. The upper stripe starts 1" wide & tapers.The distance to the pinstripe is 1/4".

Be sure to post pics when you get the stripes painted.
I did vinyl with mine in case I ever decide to try something different, but I'm quite happy with it now.
I'm still not going to paint the center of the hood on mine like the 69's,enough black on it for now.
