3M Tape, or...?

I'm in the process of removing, temporarily, my Moss Mustang tail light bezels, and a Xenon acrylic blackout panel so I can replace my rear GT badge.
Question is what should I pick up at a parts store to use when I re-install everything? I've seen some guys mention 3M tape, or another type of adhesive. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Get the red backed 3M brand tape, be sure and clean the surfaces and you should be good to go. Make sure it is above room temperature as well, read the instructions.

Mojo, so you don't run into this problem again get the 3M tape and buy thing magnet on a spool like tape. Attach the Magnet to the 3m tape and you can now remove the blackout to clean behind it. To keep someone from taking your part get velcro and on the sides take about 2 inches and place it in the trunk. I've had mine done for about a year and a half. Good luck.

Brilliant... the magnet thing sounds good.
Thanks.
