These are some cool cars guys, congrats to all of you!

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I was wondering if some of you were having problems with the 3d Carbon "GT500" spoiler lifting, and it sounds like you are. I think you can probably find the actual Ford GT500 spoiler now for just a little more money, and it bolts on using all 4 factory bolt locations. This is what I'm thinking about doing.

Tom, don't make the mistake I did, buy the OE Shelby GT500 spoiler! And, as you know, the price is now very close to the 3dCarbon piece.

That's what I was afraid of. I remember your problem from before- I'm sorry you've had the trouble that you've had- that really stinks. Good luck man I hope you get'er fixed eventually.

Wow is that really the price for the OEM piece? That is significantly lower than the price offered by KC. Anyone ever order from this site? I just got really excited, I hope this isn't too good to be true.

No problems with the 3d500 lifting. Fit and look is great.

YaoNYC, I had the stripes custom painted by Red*Star Auto Works in Sacramento. I originally had vinyl stripes but had them painted since I liked the look. Red*Star gave me back to the cost of the vinyl install and applied it to the cost of the paint job.

Well, the lifting is really minor, on the whole, I love this spoiler.

Here are some pics:

Rick, Your stang is beautiful! Your 3dCarbon spoiler is probably the later version that attaches with a total of four screws, including use of the rearmost OE spoiler holes, plus one an extra on each end, which would explain the perfect fit.

Steel -thanks for the link on the ductail spoilers. I'm not clear however on the one piece vs the 3 piece....after seeing how the one piece appears to be warping up and away from the trunk lid (on the ends) I'd rather have the 3 piece - but have a couple of questions:

1) Who makes the 3 piece and is it only available in carbon fiber?
2) Would the 3 piece require drilling holes and is the fit good with no gaps?
3) Looking at the Ford GT500 spoiler that Kevin posted - that appears to be a one piece as well?

thanks!!

3D Carbon Not carbon fiber, it's urethane

Attaches with double-sided adhesive tape and uses factory spoiler holes.

Should also note that it is not exactly the same shape as the GT 500 style. IIRC the one I saw appeared slightly larger and was on a more laid back angle.
