Yeah I agree. I like the MRT version much better for looks. But I hate that you can not see out of them. So I will be getting the SS ones because of that. Just hope they are a better quality than those pics

someone tell me how to get a friggin' picture to post here... I can never figure it out. ... and I'm not THAT big of a moron. I keep getting errors saying that it's either too big or that I don't have permission to post that file type. I've reduced, I've changed file types.... perhaps I'm just retarded.
once I can get a pic posted, I'll show you what I like... and it's like tricksixtyfive was sayin'.. inset into the window. .. in place of the window instead of taped on top of it.

Not sure what you are talking about. The MRT's are open, always have been. Mine are at the body shop right now.

Wow - those looks terrible out of the box. (Quality)
I would return them. This is why I get so bummed when I see the louvers. The manufacturers are complaining about how long it takes to tool these things and they are of poor quality. And I've seen more bad ones than good at this point.
Like someone else posted here - I want to see someone step up and tool a really nice version that replaces the glass with a vented option (that you could close or something). I want quality, not double-sided taped on aesthetics.
And yes, I'll pay the higher price.

I totally agree with you. I think someone can make a nice louvered window to replace the stock windows instead of some cheesy plastic stick on. Hey, how's this for an idea? Perhaps louvers machined out of aluminum that gets installed under the glass via tabs. You could have them sprayed body color.

I think Adrenalin will be the first to post pictures of the MRTs prepped, painted and installed, on the Mustang Source. They just started shipping. The only other photos have been black louvres on the MRT interceptor - which is black - hard to tell what they really look like with black on black, and with promo photos versus photos of "real life" cars. I'm real anxious to see 'em! ![Thumb](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/thumb.gif)
I'm leaning toward the Roush louvres right now, but I'm waiting to see the MRTs installed on a TMS member's car before making the final decision. I also think a couple of the Gen 2s are nice.

ok for anybody who's interested, ima be selling my ss louvers instead of returning them. the reason why im selling them is because i wantsnt satisflied with them and if i return these im going to pay shipping and restock fee which i dont want. ill prefer selling them to someone who wants them here. im asking$140.00 plus shipping.would prefer poeple local in the l.a area. they have to be sanded and trimmed to get them right.

Speaking of the Roush louvers do they screw into the body? I looked at a Roush car sitting on the lot a while back and I remember seeing 3 countersunk bolts in it.
Other consern would be how much trash and water do they hold, is it going to cause a rusting problem later on down the road?
