I too like it. But then again, I'm fond of the 281 overall. I had people asking me y'day, once again, what the 281 was for at the car show I was in! (sigh)

Hey SteelTown, have you checked out http://www.blackmustangclub.com yet? I'm sure that'd you enjoy the forums there!

keep the 281. Is the GAP scoop bolted on or only taped such as the CDC scoop?

Couple of 281 rocker stripe ideas I've mulled over

I've been toying with various ideas for a script on the GT rocker stripes. Here's a couple of 281 related ones.

Car is photoshoped (wheels, side stripe, and spoiler delete)

I like the 281 emblem on the scoop.

I like it also, but I'm a big fan of the late 70's T/A's (Smokey and the Bandit '77 T/A) so it looks natural to me.

StangNut- Me too! That's awesome. I'm sorry to say that the 77 T/A(black with the gold eagle/firebird/phoenix) was my first love. I don't think a big bird painted on my hood would look good...I did see some flames that I liked though... hummmm.
