2010 Style Taillamps for 05-09!!!

Have ya'll seen these yet? I have not seen them posted anywhere here yet. American Muscle is selling them. They are really sweet and replicate the 2010 design details very well! I ordered a set right away! I could not resist!

They also have black or chrome 2010 HID style headlamps with projectors and halo that also includes outer position park/turn lamps. I'll have not took the bait on those yet as they are twice as much as the taillamps and I am not sure if I like them enough to make the change.

Hmmm .. I think they are even uglier are the 05/09 ... I am just getting used to them on the 2010!

Well I like the design of the 2010 lamps with the exception of the strange hockey stick shape in the bottom. This will give a nice update for me. As usual I expect it to be a love/hate thing around here!

Count me in the hate category. The worst thing about the 2010 is the back end IMO, and I don't see the sense in replicating it on my car.

Not for me. But at least there is some choice out there.

Would look better if it went the whole taillight and not just half way down.

Oh well I never had problems with most of the lamp design as much as I detest the 2010's strange bent bumper and quarter ends and jagged lower taillamp edge. I am just ready for a small update just like I adapted the 2010 style white stitched black take off seat covers and white stitching in the leather steering wheel wrap.

ditto. sometimes driving down the highway I see a stang coming from the other way and I can't easily tell right away if it's a 2010 or a 05-09 or not, but when I look in my side view mirror when it passes, those ugly taillights with the clear back-up lights give it away every time. I also hate how the trunk fits with the lines of the rear also...like it doesn't belong on the car. Sorry for hatin' but maybe it'll start growing on us

That part I agree with but there seems to be a design limitation because of the mounting stud locations that are required on the back of the stock lamps and rear body panel. However after looking at them a while I am used to it already, plus it functionally serves as a required reflector which are part of the inside of the LED bulb chambers on the 2010 lamps.

+ another one

I wish there was a all-red replacement lens for the 05-09...seriously thinking of milling the backup part out and milling a red reflector section from a junkyard set to fill the hole back in...could CNC cut them for a near seamless fit...just a shame to scrap a set just to go to remote backups like on a 69...

There is such a thing as red lens paint. If you search you can find it.
