4000k is the color temperature. those are halogen bulbs made to appear like hid's. vehicles that come stock with hid's generally come with 4300k and people that buy after market hids normally get 6000k. if you want hid bulbs heres where i would get them http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DD...ast-35W-or-55W

Here's a link to a thread on this forum, it should answer most of your questions.

^ This is correct. The link above is not actually an HID kit, it is just a Halogen bulb set up. This will still do the trick and your light output will be good but just not as good as a set of HID's. I actually run the DDM tuning HID's on my 2011 GT and have had good luck. I went with 35W and 6K so that I don't blind apposing cars!

Hope this helps!

Does the light look blue???? What i really want is just a nice clean look but still offer more light than my stock bulbs. And what i really dont want is BLUE light shining off my red car lol.

You don't have to get blue if you don't like it. My 5K HID's have a blue tint to them. 4,300K will be a bright white, that sounds like the best option for you!

Hope this helps.
