If I can suggest one thing is I'd stay away from a GT's look. Atleast if I still had my v6 and could do it over again thats what I would have done. My v6 had a GT's body and some go fast parts and nice deep dish wheels (no GT badging of course) as it was hard to find 2005 GTs at the time .
Anyway I would suggest the 3d Carbon pony kit for v6 mustangs, this kit would look awesome on the right car ( http://www.3dcarbon.com/ look under styling kits). Only changes I would make to it is run the Black or silver CDC tribar billet grille, a GT/CS rear bumper to run dual exhaust and not use the U trim they supply. Good luck with what you decide and post pics when your done

I agree, there is nothing wrong with the other kits either, I think Shaun81 was just saying that when he had his V6 he liked the 3D Carbon V6 kit, not that there was anything wrong with the other ones.
but being a previous V6 owner I would not use a GT's styling kit. I put some stuff on mine. My opinion when I had my V6 was "if your going to look like a GT, you had better be as fast as one". That being said I never wanted to heavily mod my V6, I did stripes and painted rockers, with some light performance (muffler, and air filter). Still it's your car do what you want, for what it's worth I agree with Shaun, 3d carbon makes a great V6 kit.

I don't think that there is anything wrong with putting a GT appearance package on a V6, assuming that you don't put GT emblems on it.
I had a 2000 V6, and I put a plethora of factory "upgrades" from other mustangs on to the car (ie-cobra taillights, bullitt seats GT hood & side scoops, mach 1 stuff, cobra 10th anny wheels, etc). IMO, it looked great. But, I never once advertised it as a cobra, SVT, GT, or anything else that it wasn't.
I think that factory upgrades make it look it came that way, whereas aftermarket kits make it look "stuck-on".
Just my opinion......
