Oooh yeah. They look great on the Stang. I like the "double-spoke" rim variations too, but they have that BMW look to them.
On a stang, I'd definitely prefer fanblades. Looks more like a muscle car rim.

I like the more satin finish I've seen on some of the Fanblades over the highly polished, chromelike finish, which is just too flashy and pimp-daddy for my tastes. The painted affect is pretty cool too, visually lightening up the rims a bit and giving them some depth too.
I am also in the wheel business - working for an OE supplier. I can understand why the supplier wants to paint the "fan blades". Any big, flat surface on an aluminum wheel tends to show any blemish, inclusion, pit, or deformation in the cast aluminum. It creates a high-scrap situation for the supplier, making the wheels money-losers! They want to use the dark paint because that covers up quality issues. However, my experience tells me that if Ford wants polished, they will get polished, and the supplier will just have to buck up and do it, or lose the business.
By the way - due to environmental regulations (ISO 140001), most OE's are forcing suppliers to remove chromate from their processes - thus less and less chrome wheels will be available from the factory. Many of the "chrome" wheels available now are really just "clad skins" over the wheel. These look like chrome, and are stainless steel, so they don't rust!
