Does anyone know the difference between the 2005/2006 Shaker kit from CDC vs their 2007 kit? I ordered mine from a store and noticed the box said 2005-2006 and just initially figured that the labeling hadn't been updated. Then I found on the official CDC site (http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com...splay/634.html) that they have a completely different part number for the 2007 GT.

Can the 2005/2006 kit be adopted somehow, or will I need to exchange it? I have an appointment tomorrow to drop off the car to have it installed along with my stereo and to get the hood painted.

 

Just called CDC this morning and their tech Patrick let me know the difference. He said that there needs to be an extra cutout on the front engine cover. At the lower edge on the passenger side, a half moon cutout will be needed to clear radiator hose that is present there on the 07 that wasn't there on the 05/06.

Should be easy enough to do.
