i have american racing torq thrust IIs on my car. 18x10 rear 18x8 front. is it possible to do 18x10 fronts? since these are custom order rims, what offset/backspacing would i have to get? would this be bad for the front suspension?

45-50mm offset will allow this to work. Roush does it on their cars with a 45mm offset. I plan to do 20x10 275/35/20's all around when I get some money saved up. I need to quit blowing my cash.

the offset is not rim specific correct? would i be better to go 45 or 50 if i didnt want them to stick out at all, but be flush with the body?
these are the rims i have, and the custom order options that are availible. looks like i cant do it

The Roush wheels have a 45mm offset. Brad got that info for me a while back when I was asking exactly the same thing you are. But, I'm not looking at AR rims. I'm hoping to find something totally unique, but not ugly. It's tough to do on a budget.

well american racing said they will need a 7.25" backspace to get a +44mm offset. this is what my rears are, so i guess im gonna just try and slap one on the front. i spoke to someone who has AR 18x10s all around, so this is possible!! this is gonna look soo beefy! so who needs 2 torq thrust IIs 18x8??

well its gonna be prob a month or so, i just ordered the set for the fronts, then i have to bring all 4 to get clear sprayed over the aluminum, then they go on the car. and dont worry there will be TONS of pix. BTW, it looked sick from the front, and didnt drive any different, but i did only have one on.

I'm hoping to do 20x9.5 or 10 with either 285/30's or 275/35's. Those TT2's look good.
