18" rims on back 17" on front

Can you put 18's on the back and leave the 17's on the front without messing up the traction controll and abs. And i am assuming the dia of the 18" tires will be larger than the 17's. Anyone try this

It could work, but you'd have to play with the tire sizes/aspect ratios to get the total diameter very close.
It will likely unbalance your handling as one set will tend to break loose in a corner at a different rate than the other

The Ford GT is designed for different diameter tires in the front and back too though. The axles are set at different heights...
I say you could, but you'd be losing sidewall if you wanted to keep the tires around the same diameter. You want about 4.5" on an 18" rim and 5" on a 17" rim.
