255/45/18 will keep them close to the stock diameter. Although you may want to get some wider tires for looks/performance, especially in the rear. I think alot of people run 275/40/18 for the rears but im not positive.

I run a staggered tire set up.295/45/18's on the rear,255/45/18's on the rear with same exact Bullitts. The rear tire is taller but its an old school look I was after. My car is lowered so if you run the taller size I would recomend lowering your car or it will stick up even higher on stock springs. With the taller/fatter tire I have no clearance issues.

i like the oldschool look too !
but when you drive taller tires on the rear, the diameter difference is ~5% so the brake system can cause failure ?!?

I driven over 3000 trouble free miles on my 07'GT and have had no braking issues.I've run over size tires on older cars with drum brakes with cars that in excess of 400HP and didn't have braking issues there either.Just a few of my old street meanies.
the Rebel had a built401,the Impala with built 409,the R/T was a HEMI and that car came factory with 14x6 wheels & drum brakes front and rear..

I run 255-45/18 front and 285-40/18 rear. Keeps the stock tire diameter.

Geeze, thanks for posting that picture. Now I know I have to buy a set of 18" deep dish Bullitts (my car's currently running the standard 17" Bullitts like the car behind yours!)

Yours is certainly a gorgeous car. I love your mods and I certainly love the grille.

I will get 18" DD Bullitts at some point, but it'll have to wait until funds allow. By the time I've paid import duty and tax, getting wheels to the UK can be really expensive.

Repect to you with regards the cruise. That's a great number of cars and all for a well deserved tribute.

AR Torque Thrust M's are prolly a little more spendy just because they come with Shelby's name on them.My buddy run runs the American Muscle DD and they look the same, wheel offsets and backspacing are no different.
Just look at Burkes ride...reeaal sweet!

Hey....I am looking at this exact same setup. 18x9 front and 18x10 in the back. Black deep dish bullitts from Amercian Muscle but my bro keeps telling me that these weigh so much more than stock rims that my car will end up as fast as a Pinto.

Anyone know the weight diff??

Also....You guys are pretty happy with

255-45/18 front
285-40/18 Back

I was looking at Discount tire and I couldnt find a brand and model that does both.
Ideas? I want the same tread pattern and tire model....
