Hey 05GT

what color is your car and if you can, post some pics of it with your window louvers.

Mineral Grey

only exterior mods so far are swapping the premium wheels for bullitts, adding knockoffs, and the side window louvers

CUON 24,

Do you have your 3d Carbon louvers installed yet? If so, can you post some pic's (inside and outside if possible). I really like the look of these louvers and like you I think it may be better in the long run to go with "closed" louvers. I also like the more finished look on the inside with their vinyl trim piece. Thank you.

I am waiting on CDC to release the style that was on Paul's highperformance stang at the SEMA show. Those are the one's I like the best.

adrenelin,
Aren't those quarter window louvers the same as the one's on the MRT Interceptor. If not very, very close. MRT has these available now for $189.00.

Those louvers are from Street Scene Equipment. The part number for them is 950-70746

Those side louvers look cool. They make the car look faster and a bit meaner. My only mod is an "eject" button, so maybe louvers will be next on my list!

Iknow a guy who has a body shop and he says to mount them on hinges too. I can't visualize how this would look. You don't want a visible hinge showing. It looks like if we mount with 3 M we'll have the look we want with VERY dirty windows underneath. If the hinge idea works then lets find out how. If not I may just use the velcro and take a chance on somebody stealing them. Mike we are looking to you as the expert in the field of louvres, hope you can come up with some good ideas. Jerry

I was not talking about the street scene louvers. I don't like theirs. I prefer the ones on Paul's Highperformance stang/MRT's. Like this one...

To all interested,

I e-mailed MRT earlier today and just received a response concerning my question of window cleaning. I was told that these louvers were designed to be easily removed so that the windows can be cleaned at any time. I'm really starting to lean this way, they do look pretty aggressive. Also they will give at least some vision out quarter windows.

Kinda confused about that one. MRT responded to my reply and the only louvers that are removable is the rear window, not the 1/4 windows. If you removed the 1/4 windows you would have to completely remove the 3M tape that holds them on and use new tape, that is, if you don't break the louvers when removing them.

I think a few of you are confusing the rear window louvers with the side 1/4 window louvers.

adrenelin,

Now I am confused. I specifically asked about the 1/4 windows and the response was regarding these. I guess I'll have to try again. Thanks.

I like MRT's the best to because the rest of them kind of take the same shape as the 1/4 window. I like the more square shape these have

not saying the others look bad this is just my preference.
