After a Lot of Interest and Sales for the 2007 Mustang GT/CS Side Scoops . Ford Doubled the Price on Them And Then Doubled Them again. For Those wanting the Look at a Much More Cost effective Price I would reccomend The 3d Carbon Side Scoops. The 3d Scoops are Very close but about an Inch Shorter. Comparison Pics to Follow. Also the Ford Scoop has a Grille Type Insert in the Opening vs the Carbon Fiber Look Insert on the 3d Piece. Additonally 3d offers prepainting where the Ford are only Offered Unpainted.

Both Items are Listed on my Hotsheets. Also the Ford Scoops are Currently on a Very bad backorder. Very Few Dealers that have these on Order would be aware of the FORD Price Increase as I Had to Dig for it. I also sent an email to Ford to complain about the Price Increase and their reply was they were incorrectly Priced upon release and current pricing was Correct.

List Pricing for the 3d Unpainted Scoops are $169.00 a Pair
List Pricing for the Ford Scoops are $208.33 Each.

Too bad the 3D Carbon doesn't come with the honeycomb fron insert...

Now what I'd really love to see is a comparison between the GT/CS side scoops and the new Street Scenes side scoops.

Man, I am dying to see some good views of the Street Scenes side scoops. I think they look best from the side but I am not sure they look as good at the front ( honeycomb area ).

Would love to see some good pics of them from different angles.

I finally saw the GT/CS side scoops in person yesterday at my dealer. I must say I was totally disappointed. To me they look like big blobs tacked on like something out of the JC Whitney catalog. I am soooo glad I didn't order them before I saw them in person. Oh, and a big to Ford for shafting Mustang owners by raising the price so high. Just another example of how Ford is completely out of touch with its customer base and reality.

 

UPDATE!

Ford is Terminally Backorderd on the GT/CS Side Scoops! I would not be Surprized if they Change Prices again! Hopefully for the Better!

Here is the Latest Scoop!

No Gt/Cs Side Scoops Available for 4 to 6 Weeks. They are Only Available with a Vin Number for Service on a True GT/CS and will Come in the Color of the Vehicles as Per Vin. When Parts Are Released for service they will be Paint to Match. Orders will have to Be called In By Dealer for Warranty and or Collision Repairs!
