Thumbs down

I went and had my Nitto 555 mounted to my Chrome Deep Dish Bullitt 18x9 & 18x10 today, when I got home I decided to go ahead an mount them on the stang.

I started with the back passenger side and after I tried to put the wheel on i noticed there is VERY LITTLE room between the wheel and the brake caliper, probably just enough to slide a credit card through. I added the front spacer I got from MustangTuning and it help some still does'nt look as much clearance as the fanblades have.

Has anyone else had any issues with this? should I put 1/4" spacers on both back and front or is the "credit card" size space enough?

I'm really scared of putting the wheel on and going for a drive and the entire wheel gets ripped off along with the brakers.

please help

My regular Bullits look the same way. If they aren't touching you should be good to go.

I installed Torq Thrust II rims and only have a small amount of room as well. As long as they don't rub you are fine.

I know how ya feel. I have my 18X10(rear) Smoothie IIs in my dining room now, with the 18X9s(front) coming next week. I tried to test fit 'em yesterday and before I got the chance to really check out the fit, it started raining. If they barely fit on the rear, I thinking I'm probably going to need spacers on the front. I'm not happy about the new calipers.
