One thing I'm worried about is the price.
Traditionally CDC parts are WAY overpriced.
I'm guessing $495.

Hmmm, looks kinda tacky from that point of view, I would rather have a trunk lid replacement so its smooth all the way back, not just a piece of plastic tacked on.

I like it.

The problem with a trunk replacement would be the end caps - they would still have to have that "stuck on" look - so my bet would be no trunk lid.

I don't understand what you mean, how would a trunk replacement that was metal all the way back, not a separate piece attached look stuck on?

old F-body ducktails had hangovers that curved over the side, but were attatched to the trunk....

Spoilers are in short supply right now from Ford, as well as 5-speed GT's. Order an auto with no spoiler and it goes DIRECTLY to production.
