Week 6 Roundup

Well, I've been crazy busy at work this week (I'm actually typing this at work right now!), so I didn't get to do as much review as I would have liked....so, it'll probably be shorter and sweeter than normal...

Saints/Eagles - OMG...what a dissapointment with the Eagles after the Cowboys win. I think you could blame almost everyone on the field, except for McNabb. They were still in it at the end and could have gotten the ball back, if not for a 12 man on the field penality.

Chicago/Arizona - man, even when they are bad, they're good! Leinart looked very good, from the little I saw.

Tennessee/Washington - Washington is just horrible. HORRIBLE! So what do they do? Go out and sign ANOTHER aging vetran. Makes sense to me!

My picks for next week:

Lions at Jets - Jets should take this one...I'm waiting to see when the Lions are going to get really good again.

Packers at Dolphins - Miami should win over an aging Farve.

Eagles at Bucs - man, who knows....I'm gonna go with the Birds...I almost have to.

Chargers at Chiefs - The Cheifs are gonna battle hard, but lose to the San Diego Tomlinsons..er, I mean Chargers.

Panthers at Bengals - Oh boy...I've been picking the Bengals and losing...I'm still taking them at home...

Patriots at Bills - Pats. Do I even need to list a reason?

Steelers at Falcons - Steelers are going to start rolling, I think. Pittsburgh.

Jags at Texans - The Jags should wipe the field up with the Texans.

Broncos at Browns - The Broncos are a better rounded team, by far. Denver.

Skins at Colts - Shouldn't even be close, Manning is gonna rip them apart.
Colts.

Vikings at Seahawks - Still won't have Alexander, but it still won't matter, Hawks...

Cardinals at Raiders - The Cards are going to look at this past weekend as a win. Cards win big.

Giants at Dallas - HUGE divisional game. Personally, I think Dallas is going to win this one.

Philly should've won, but I'll take it.
A 62 yard FG to win the game. Unbelievable!!!

Lions, Really good? They haven't been really good since 1957.

They went 12-4 in 1991, but other than that...

I'd call it "inspired mediocrity", until the Matt Millen era. Now we just suck.

Hey, if you guys are that bad, we'll take Roy Williams off your hands for a couple of draft picks. Donnie Mac can use someone that can consistantly catch the ball...

The last thing we need to do is get rid of the only first round WR pick that's actually worked for us. Feel free to sign Charles Rogers, he's a free agent. He's the Ricky Williams of WR (you might get some play time out of him between tokes)

I'm looking forward to Detroit and Miami on Thanksgiving. Joey Harrington will pass for 300 yards, 4 TDs, and 1 INT. But only because he's not a Lion anymore.

I'd rather trade William Clay...., Matt Millen, and the rest of th front office before we touch the players. There's a couple of talented guys in there. The problem is that they keep surrounding them with drug addicts and losers.

12-4? How did they do in the Super Bowl? For that matter how did they do in the playoffs?

Well, it's the Lions, they got the bye week, then lost their first playoff game.

Yeah, They got a bye this week too, so I don't expect they will lose this week. I do think they will come back from the bye week, and show us how bad they really are again.
