OK . . since Ford isn't in the IRL (well sort of with the Cosworth Chevy Engine, but that is another debate. ) who would you like to see win?

I'm going with the mass media this year and am pulling for Ms. Danica Patrick . . . or Kenny Brack.

So far, pretty good race. Wish Danica hadn't of stalled, but she seems to be moving slowing up the field.

I think this might be Hornish's year . . . .he and Kanan are having a great battle.

Danica didn't win, but a 4th place finish ain't too bad. Congratulations to Dan Wheldon for winning this year's Indy 500.

This was the first 500 I watched over 25% in some time. Good race. Danica made some rookie mistakes, but I think she proved herself a little more.

Glad Michael got his first 500 win . . .even if it was as an owner.

James . . you should be happy a Brit won!

Danica did pretty good. It dawned on me that if the race didn't finish under caution, Dan might not have finished at all since he ran out of gas on the cool down lap.

I think that while Patrick did put up some great results, I think that it was too much hype considering the fragmented state of open-wheel racing.

I think that is EXACTLY the type of positive hype open-wheel racing needs. It be different if she wrecked on the first lap (and she did have some rookie mistakes), but I think she lived up to the hype. Much more so that Sara Fisher did (or has in the past), and she is a good driver, but Danica is better.

With Honda now taking a shot at bringing CHAMP and IRL together, and CHAMP buying the Long Beach GP (as a last ditch effort to keep the IRL from purchasing the race), Danica'a ride was a breath of fresh air.

I agree with Evil, and did you see how she drove that thing. The were a couple of times when she was in traffic where you could see here muscling the car. Pretty impressive for a rookie no matter the gender.
