I think it is going to be a long hard road ahead for Packer fans. To make room on the salary cap, Mike Wahl and Marco Rivera might be lost to other teams. If that happens, do you think Brett Favre will stick around? I don't want to have to go another 30+ years before seeing another S.B. win for my Pack.

Sorry but Brett just isn't the quarterback he once was. Sure he has a good game here and a good game there, but he hasn't been consistent for a few years now.

I'm not making excuses here, but think about what has happened to him in the last few years. Addiction to painkillers, dad dies, wife has breast cancer, brother-in-law dies, Reggie dies. It's hard to keep your head in the game with problems like that going on in your life. I would love to see him return to form and have a great season, but I just don't see it. With Wahl and Rivera gone, I wouldn't blame him for not comming back. It's gonna be a while before the Pack can make things happen again. Darn free agency! j/k God, I love football!!!!

Since the rest of division really stinks (Detroit, Chicago and Minnesota), I still think that Packers will make the playoff.

Brett Favre is not consistent???

Look at the numbers he posted up last year... yea, he has had better years, but these numbers are freakin' amazing!
That's what happens when you are one of the best. You dont have a super duper season, and it's looked at as a bad year, even if you outperform almost every QB in the league.

2004
QB rating: 92.4
Yards: 4,088
Completion Percentage: 64.1
TD: 30
Int: 17
Fumbles Lost: 1

He has the greatest heart in the NFL. One of the few players that grind it out with out female doggin', moaning, or whinning. One of the very few players that does not show off and dance around like a moron.
I would have him in my team over any other player in the NFL.

oh yea, and about the Packers having it rough this season; yea they will, because of the salary cap and the loss of some really key players.

you guys crack me up!!! stick to mustang talk because those who criticize brett favre don't know what the heck they are talking about. HA!! EASILY the most accomplished quarterback in today's game. I am a new york giants fan so I am on the outside looking in. brett favre has accomplished more in his career (including consistency, how many games in a row???) than any quarterback in the league today!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thats that
