Could they have picked a better week to be off! Question is, do you think they are a #1 team? Personally, and I don't say this because I'm a Auburn fan, I think they're good and will kill Auburn this year but I don't think they are a #1 team. I think the SEC looks like it's really weak this year.

 

I dont know, compared to other conferences, i think the SEC is pretty stout. Hell look at the beathign UF just put on LSU.. omg?!

As far as bama #1, eh im not sure, top 5 yes, not sure about 1. And as an auburn fan who paid for the PPV today, im highly dissapointed in the team this year. I dont expect a good outcome at the iron bowl.

 

I'll qualify first by saying I'm a Texas fan.

But I don't think you should gain the number one spot on a bye week.

Also #5 Texas beat #1 Oklahoma. #3 Mizzou and #4 LSU lose. Personally I think you beat number one and everyone else between you and number one loses or is off, then you should get the nod. However as it was last year, it seems that the teams only rent #1 for a week or two before losing it these days. So I'll just be happy with #2 now, and #1 after the BCS Championship.

They are Top 5 no doubt, i'm really impressed with them this year.
