Fortunately for the USA, both Slovenia and Algeria really suck so the USA shouldn't have any problems qualifying for the next round.

I'm still not sure how did Slovenia manage to beat Russians in qualifying ...

That was a very silly game. The ref was completely out of control.

The ref in the England - Algeria game was not much better, although that is the worst I have ever seen England play, ever.

 

Can't believe that US game. It would have been awesome to get the win, which we deserved. The ref had a nightmare of a game though....too bad. Let's hope we can beat Algeria.

I am pretty infuriated with that game! Listened to it at work and about jumped out of my cube when the final goal was scored by the US all to have it revoked! I just want them to break out at this point. I don't mean to carry anything on about it but it's pretty terrible.

 

Algeria is a tough opponent, pretty much like any African team. They played 0:0 vs England, they lost against Slovenia because of a stupid goalkeeper ...

Well, Serbia is playing on Wednesday too. We have to beat Australia if we wanna go to the next round. We played pretty well against Germany; I don't see a reason why we can't beat Australia.

 

Australia has been pretty weak this tournament. I agree with you -- no reason for aSerbia not to advance. Good luck!

 

I think the only reason i didn't freak out more was because i was still in shock that we tied the game. As I saw the reply though then I was getting angry! It's not easy to win a world cup game, to get that taken away is rough.
