Wondered what happened
Back in the mid to late 2000s my Wife and I were just out for a drive, noticed a Ford Dealer up on Rt 211 near Luray, Va. whose lot was full of then new Rousch Mustangs, 427Rs, etc. It was a Sunday, so the dealership was closed, but we counted 28 Mustangs with a Rousch touch, some around back had tags so maybe were customer cars there for service, etc. I figure there were a couple more likely in the shop too but it was closed too so just a guess.
Later while on another drive, we pulled in to look again, was not a single new Rousch Mustang on the lot, was just one used orange one with some hideous 20" wheels in the used car part of the lot.
It's a good 100 miles away so not local.

there is a dealer near me that had lots of Roush Mustangs in the past, but has very few or none now, also . . . I haven't asked them why, so I would be just guessing . . . might be interesting to see how many cars Roush is selling in total these days, might have gone way down?

SUPERCHARGED RED ROCKET ------------------Master-Moderator
Used car sales have been on the rise due to the semiconductor shortage which has affected new car sales.. It's not just Mustang variants, but all new car sales across the board!

Yup same out here. The Ford dealers lots are all but bare. Maybe one or two new vehicles. You know the ones that nobody wants. Rare to see a nice F-150 or larger, or a Mustang GT or higher sitting around. Those are all gone or spoken for. What are they doing for business, service only?
