2 years ago we were all waiting and waiting for the introduction of the 2005 Mustang at the North American Auto Show, and a couple of days before the show opened, Motor Trend came out with the Mustang on the cover. I remember that I had stopped checking this site during the holiday season, as I was just waiting for the countdown date, and then logging on late on December 30th and seeing a scan of the Motor Trend article I think 3 or 4 days before the official unveiling at the Auto Show...

So, my question is, do you think that'll happen again? Will Motor Trend or C&D or Autoweek (won't be Road and Track since they just had the GT 500 vert on the cover) publish here in the next 6-9 days and give us a scoop of the production Shelby GT 500?

Maybe There's very little we don't know....Details and specs are about all thats left.. Won't be long in any case. Brad will have a nice " Spread" for us too, when he gets back from the show

I'd expect some minor leaks. Seems like there are always some. Hopefully the boards won't crash like they did when the Mustang GT was unveiled.

I just got the February edition of Car and Driver last night, and there was no mention of the GT 500...

I'm sure someone will break the embargo early and post pictures and writeups on the internet. The same goes for the upcoming camaro and challenger

I dont think that will be a concern anymore Our current host is 100x better than the last one when that happened.

If my memory serves me right I seem to remember that early this year a certain high up TMS admin (can't disclose the name but he happens to drive a funny looking color pony) took a third strike and crashed the site. We need to ensure his hands are off the keyboard this time.
