Unhappy

Hi,

My name is Alex and I had my heart broken today when I realized an SVT model wont be out til 2007. See I thought it was coming out in 2006 and was going to wait, but now that I realize it's 2007 I need to find alternatives. Sure, the 2005 is a great car, but I want something with even more power as I am a sports car fanatic. So I thought I was going to settle for a 2005 and get 19' rims on it when I saw some discussion of a Boss Mustang coming out this upcoming summer or something along those lines. So, is there anyone that knows whether this is a rumor, fan fiction, or dare I even say it the truth? Is there going to be a Boss Mustang within a year of this post?? If so my broken heart may heal quite fast. Please I need more info.

welcome to the boards alex!

Special Editions (SEs) such as the boss, mach 1, bullit, etc, will most likely take a year or two. They're marketing devices, to boost sales. The 05 is flying off the shelf as is, and doesn't need much help

The convertible will drop in jan, that much is known. There may also be a shelby in the first half of 2005, but rumors are putting that in the 100k territory. The saleen and roush versions may be available by then as well, but their looks don't do it for must of us, and the saleen will be pushing mid 40s.

My suggestion? Get an 05, and make it your own! That's what makes hot rodding great!
