Would they do this if SVT was done?

George Ayres makes the move to Ford’s Special Vehicle Team and he brings with him an impressive resume of performance work with Jaguar. Mr. Ayres has worked on Jag’s return to Trans-Am racing the XKR Silverstone in 2001 and concept cars such as the XK-RS and Concept Eight. He replaces Tom Scarpello as the SVT marketing and sales manager.

Hells to the yeah!.... (I wonder how that's going to sound comin' out of the filter) Sounds like they decided to be part of the solution, instead of contributing to the problem (of SVT not being profitable enough). You know... now that I think about it.... I don't think I've ever seen a single add for an SVT product. Not a 1. A little marketing might do them some good.... people won't consider the competition (for the Viper, the Corvette, and Eurotrash..... did I say that?) if they don't know there is any.

Didn't they mention "also available with performance package SVT edition" or something like that in a Focus comercial?

No good to advertise if you can't get it Clint. about half a doz. ford dealers in the metro area, and not 1 carry the SVT Cobra. Matter of fact, you have to travel to another province here in Canada [200 miles] just to see one.

CANT BUY WHAT YOU CANT SEE!

I found my SNAKE easy enough and I would prefer that very few of the fools who might consider SVT couldn't find them. The hobby is full of people who are about show not go. As an aside did I read somewhere that Colletti has moved too?
