Mach1, BOSS, doesn't really matter to me. I just know that after my wife gets her 07 Valencia Orange V6 - I have two years to save for an 09 or 10 model SE.

 

If enthusiast feedback really did scare Ford away from making a C/S, I happily take partial credit for it.

Now a Mach on the other hand...that is much more to my liking.

I personaly hope they don't bring back the Mach 1 for a while.....if they do another one, the rarity factor on mine will go in the dumps.......Make all that stuff you were talking about, but call it a Boss, not a Mach......

If they were to do one, the pic that AFBLUE has up would be most awesome. Because as we all know, blue is the best

Those mock-ups look good - the only thing I thinnk I would change would be to make the entire hood-bulge black...just a little something different so that the stripe pattern is not the same as it was on the 03-04.

but i do think a new mach or boss would be sweet. depending on the HP, i would take one of those over the "shelby" anyday... I may be alone in this, but I would trade some HP for style (and hopefully less body weight) any day of the year!

No official Ford press release but this is close. Boss 329...sounds sweet to me!! Now all I need is 375+ HP, an IRS, a 6 spd and a curb weight under 3,400 lbs and I'm there. :worship:

This just about seals it for me, out with the GT500 and in with the BOSS!!

Great!! As long as I get mine first!! I just hope Ford builds it right with all the necessary performance hardware worthy of the legendary Boss name.

 

Shelbys has been the most popular mainly because of the inflated resale prices no question, but at its peak the Boss had the best handling, most power and respect than any other previous Mustang, on the street or track, bar none.

I am willing to bet the success of the Boss and Mach 1 contributed to Ford giving Shelby and his arrogance the boot. When the Boss is brought back I'd doubt Ford will short change its most prized performer, the one Ford didn't have to share credit with.

 

Wow! A little bird told me several months ago that it was going to be a Boss. The bird was right.

When I saw that yellow "Boss" mustang at that link I was disappointed, thinking that that was the new Boss. Thankfully it's not. Hopefully Ford can do better than that.

"BOSS 329" is a nice cross between the old BOSS 302 and 429

 

Who makes those head light covers on that yellow 05 302 Boss GT?

 

I'm kinda disappointed, i was really hoping it was a new mach 1.

 

Ford has not make up their mind it which one they going to do, the boss or the Mach1 it.

I'd prefer a Mach1 as well but I sure am not going to Complain if its a BOSS with a 5.4L. Maybe i just want a Shaker hood. Ya thats it. Just give me that and i'll be fine.
