I talked to one of my sources at Ford today, and he said that a lot of the info leaked is right (I assume that's the name and the engine), but he also said there'll be a suprise no one's expecting!

On a more serious note, what's the deal with the name and engine? Does this mean that it will be a Shelby/SVT joint project for sure?

Ya know, based on that I'm gonna have to wait for an 06 gt and by the time the SVT is being built, my (hopefully) new job will more than cover the expense it would cost to buy a cobra. I'll have to wait and more about it though

What is everyone not expecting? I think peeps have pretty much speculated on everything. Maybe an amalgam of all the specials? Say one with a Shelby Cobra engine, Mach1 shaker, and the Boss stripe package.
