Your poor dad was dooped. The guy who "ordered" an orange one is a liar and probably has some swamp land for sale too. They cant be officially ordered for a while.

 

idk the guy didn't look like a liar, i think he was serious...he has like exclusive privelages....and the cobra painter has orange as a color....ya never know

Ok just to be sure noone can get on a waiting list right now or put a downpayment on the shelby am i right? And do you think anyone will be able to get the shelby for msrp cause there is a guy saying he is going to get it for msrp and has already put a down payment on it. Do you think any of this is true he is saying all this where it says in the topic wait let me go tell you and you can go there and tell him he is wrong which i think he is lieing.

they arent gonna make many of them

and all of the magizines are WRONG on the MSRP

and there is only going to be one run of the GT500.

each dealer is probably only going to get one car, the SVTOA sponser dealership said it would be a blind draw.

 

Wading through all those fonts you've amassed, i think you may be referring to me. Everything about this car is speculation, from the # produced, to the price, and to the color of the darn thing! With that said, let me repeat what i said in another thread.

I went to visit my SVT dealer and dealt with a friend of mine there (...who just happens to be the vice president of said SVT dealership) He told me they were taking refundable deposits to get on a "waiting list". He didn't want to take any money from me (he felt bad) but i told him if it guaranteed me a spot on the list, i'll give it to him. So, without further ado, i removed said deposit money from my pocket and forked it over to him and he wrote me a reciept with the list # on it. As far as price goes, it's anyones guess what MSRP will be. We both discussed price and he told me i'm getting the car for MSRP. He apologized for not being able to get it for me at x plan/a plan...whatever. So, other than inviting you to my house and taking a trip to the dealership together, you'll just have to take my word for it.

Also, he told me that there is a chance they'll only get a car or two so that'll leave me out. (owner of dealership is taking one). I understand if that happens, i'll just have to get something else. Nothing is written in stone.

 

Sure whatever you say Fiacobra and yeah you got a shelby for msrp and yeah you put a down payment on it yeah right can anyone believe this guy what a joke.

 

Fiacobra did you read what 05gt said let me help you understand what he said he basically said slim chance to none your getting a shelby or have a downpayment on one he lied to you sorry.

I love these people who come out of nowhere with "inside info."

There will be 7000-7500 made per year for two to three years. That's the range we've been told and it's been confirmed by HTT.

The price will be about $40K (likely the starting price before options)...

...but then of course there will be the market adjustment fee, no doubt raising the price to about $1,697,275.00! BEFORE taxes, of course.

 

Zach, there is no 'official waiting list'. This a dealer thing. I suggest your father keep his money in his pocket until something concrete is announced. BTW, the person who said they 'ordered' an orange Shelby is full of . All that means is a dealer took his money and promised him the sky.

 

mr-mstng try and tell Fia cobra there isnt a waiting list right now he thinks he is already on the waiting list isnt that funny. And robert how do you know for sure that 05 Gt isnt right when did ford make you president of the company that you know everything? :scratch:

 

Iceman, I've read about enough of your garbage in this post and others. I don't respond much on this forum but this is ridiculous. Read the posts again (assuming you can read because you can't speak or type English). The deposit was for a place on the list to get one, not that he has ordered one. The price of the car is set by each dealer. If the dealer wrote on the piece of paper that he will get the car for MSRP and that document is signed by the dealership then it is a legal and binding document. Each dealer sets their own prices, it has nothing to do with Ford.

Each dealer has the right to create a waiting list for people to ORDER. That doesn't mean they will get one depending on how Ford allocates the cars. Its still rumor that only SVT dealers will sell them and its still rumor that all dealers will get one. When I see something official from Ford thats when I'll believe it.

Admins, I don't mind the guy posting his crap, but when he can't even type legibly, I think its time to ban him until he can prove that he can.
