I don't believe that Eaton makes a twin screw at all.... they pioneered the roots type and are evidently convinced that it's a good thing.... when it is in fact the least efficient type of blower.

they are doo doo if want my opinion.

Ok...this might sound like a stupid noob question, but what is the difference between a twin-screw and a roots-type blower? I know the difference between a roots blower (like the Eaton) and a centrifugal blower (like Vortech, ATI, Paxton, etc) and know how they work, but I don't know much about a twin-screw. Please educate me on my supercharger ignorance.

A roots type blower injects air it has NOT compressed. A twin-screw supercharger injects air it has ALREADY compressed.

This explains the way the three types work and their advantages/disadvantages pretty well.
