I like the shaker but that raised part looks a bit odd on the 05.

One thing for sure, the stock hood looks very nice. Most of the aftermarket hoods look like poo.

Now that is a hood I like. That and the Roush front end.

Some I like, most I hate. This one is not too bad, but not my favorite

does ne one kno if theres a ram air hood? likie on the '71-'73 mach 1s? me wants.
Now THAT I could see. It would be a nice addition on a future Mach 1.

Mix and match the greatest design elements together in one model. After all, that's how they created the '05 GT. [/b][/quote]
hmmm like this ....hint hint

This hood is how Henry would have liked it.

YES! That may be the best yet.

Personally, I would perfer the whole thing body color - but that could be a matter of personal choice for the buyer. I think your hood is spot-on...and rivals the concept nostrils for two greatest scoop designs thus far.

I'd love a Mach 1 like that. Although I definitely prefer the foglights on the GT - I think the Stang looks kinda naked and ordinary without them.

A couple of years ago I sold my 73 Mach 1 with 351 clevland ram air. It was red with a black and white interior. Wing on the back and spoiler up front. It was mint. If you saw it you would want it. I regret it espcially now that I'm buying a torch red 05 GT. But I was offered 20 grand a took it. To think it was almost an even swap for an 05. I'm going to post a picture of it in the 73 forum for those who are interested. See these mustangs become a love affair!

I hope to replace that with my new stang. This isn't a divorce from the 73 more of a widower getting the new bride!
