I am still surprised at how badly GM screwed the pooch on the looks of the GTO. When I first saw the concept a few years back it wasnt bad looking...nothing special like the mustang that jumped out and grabbed you but fairly simple which is what I think I liked about it. Then they went and shortened it up and made it look like a cross between a Grand Am and a Ford Escort, slapped in some HP and tried to pass it off to the consumer. Ford may have done some stupid things with the mustang as far as allocation and all the BS but at least the car we all want is worth waiting for. I cant imagine waiting for a GTO. And apparently neither can GM since no one is.
