Boy, I am glad you guys aren't on the design team :notnice:

I prefer a smile than the sad droopy look of the v6/GT

Actually, I think the V6 is smiling too. That may be it, I think the GT500 looks too much like the V6 version, no grill mounted fogs, a smiley look to it, rocker panels with no paint.

That front end slaughters both those of the V6 and GT. It is stunning, and I'll say directly to anyone reading this that happens to work at SVT.....lose the front end and lose sales. Ford wants to seperate the Cobra from the other mustang models and they have done it wonderfully well. Give me an intergrated ducktail with the 10% upcoming change and I'll pay 45k today!

I don't see it as a smile. Ever see a wild dog, wolf, or cobra after its been in a frenzy? It has that type of berserk grin.

Well, it IS growing on me a bit.

But, I still think it looks a bit like a Smiley face in the lower grille area.

However, I would have NO qualms about buying this car just as it sits!

Yeah, I still think the upper and lower grill together looks like an open whaleshark mouth from the frontmost view, but I guess that would just make everything else on the road plankton. Grill issues aside, this car is just about perfect!

ahh cool a design discussion.

well I think it looks great the way it is, I like how everything fits, even with the smile, and really I just look past it and see one big opening from upper and lower.

I like how the edges intersect across from the smile to the blinker, I can just see how everything flows together. I'm not a fan of the fogs, but they arn't bad either. Just don't fit the flow of the design.

I figured they would have done more with the side window, looks like most of the body restyling is in the nose and hood and little stuff around the rest of the car.

still I love the tilt on the headlights, just like the old concept.
