I don't know if it has been mentioned whether or not Ford will build a Shelby GT 500 convertible. I do know that some members of my Mustang club were talking about it. I saw this pic/news article and thought I'd share it with you.

And while this article doesn't specifically mention building convertibles, it does have a picture of Carol Shelby standing in front of a Legend Lime GT500 convertible with silver racing stripes.
