I love that hood. The same hood without the vents could be used for a new SVO!

Looks like a Saleen Extreme with a different hood. Not impressed even if it had 1000HP. At some point the power gas to waste....yeah I said it!

Oh and take that stupid high chair looking wing off.

 

That's confusing. Is it the company where Steve Saleen was forced out from or or where he is presently working at?

I am under the impression that Steve Saleen would be associated with either Dodge or Chevrolet.

720HP is meaningless and impractical. The basic fact is that someone looking to spend $100,000 on a car is not going to buy a Mustang - Saleen or not. Especially if it has hideous body kit on it. That hood belongs on in import, not an R/C car with a handle for a spoiler.

 

If I had a six figure income and I was going out to buy a $100,000 car I might put this up with a Porsche 911 Turbo I would be looking at along with a F360 and probably a Murcielago. I might lean towards this one if it can out run the other vehicles as well. I think the body kit looks great along with the rear spoiler I just wish this was a Saleen instead of a SMS.

 

WTF? I see a potential legal battle between sms and saleen.

 

Steve Saleen still owns Saleen, he is just not the acting president right???? If so, he can do what he wants with the cars!!

 

Actually no - my understanding is that Steve no longer has ANYTHING to do with Saleen.

 

So he sold it outright??

 

His daughter still with the company too? She did the Gumball Rally in a Saleen Mustang.

 

I think there were investor politics going on behind the scenes and "retiring" was the smartest option.

Btw, I'm surprised that he's allowed to use the Saleen body mods and stripes.
