The Saleen is pretty sick. The more I see it the more I like it. 38 - 45K is a lot of money though. You could make a lot of your own mods on a GT just the way you wanted for that price.
I like the saleen, personally I think different wheels would add much more to the car IMHO.

Oh by teh way SKOL VIKINGS AVATAR!! Take down the Giants!!

A friend of the Saleen family told me not to let them touch my 05... Says thier craftmanship is not what it used to be.

Having said that I love love love everything about this car, wuth the exception of the tailend... the sunk in lights look funky to me.

I doubt the HID's will be leveling projectors.

They are prob just first gen HID's that are fully adaptable for normal headlights... I've seen a ton of honda's with that upgrade. I can't remember the site, but there's one out there that only makes HID kits for almost any make and model you can think of. A friend of mine did his 02 GT with one of thier kits and it was awesome... ended up getting totaled from a rear end collision though.

The rear of that car looks about as attractive as my rear.

other options available:

Saleen performance cooling packing. Not priced yet.
Saleen Max grip differential $1450.00
Extreme Performance summer tires. Not priced yet.
Saleen custom Factory Paint $15,000
Saleen Extreme rainbow paint $16,000
Auto transmission $995.00

Saleen can't possibly be any more rediculously priced. They dont even lower cars properly.
I agree, who pays $15k for a paint job? [/b][/quote]
Yes, I think the GT's were cheaper than this... Although I'd really like to see this car in the Extreme Rainbow or Berylium (sp?)

I'm pretty sure non leveling HID's without projector lenses are illiegal. That is why the DOT made all the aftermarket kits illiegal. If that isn't an "off road use only" option then it has to have a lense on it.

Yeah, that's what i figured...So, so far the aftermarket has fixed the following:

1) Auto-Dim Mirror - Check
2) HID's - Check
3) Navigation - Check

Still waiting on heated seats, and the concept engine cover.

2 diff dealers that I shop have told me that Saleen is terrible about warranty claims. I think KevinB also has mentioned this. If their craftsmanship is worse and they won't fix it, why drop $45k for a body kit and some springs? I'd steer clear just for that (not to mention the ugliness)
