Don't know if its a repost or not but still worth it. I love the power, and I love the front, but I'm still not crazy with what Saleen did with the rear. Too crowded for me.

i think the base models exterior looks quite elegant. w/o the wing and hood scoops. the dealer up the road has like 8 of them. the rear looks much better in person then in the pics. just give me the drivetrain from the extreme in the base exterior

At first I didn't care much for the Saleen's grille or rear end, but after seeing one in person, I knew it was the car for me; so I went and ordered one. Mine's a 3-valve; it would have been nice to go for the s/c but that's ok. I personally do like the hoods on the s/c's though.

I'm curious about the new rpm redline for the engine. 480lbs of torque sounds a little weak. Whipple's kit should push 500+ on a otherwise stock motor.

Wait, you ordered a Saleen with an auto tranny? Not my choice, but I hope you enjoy it.

Yeah I realize that seems a bit weird to have an automatic Saleen...I can honestly say, as pathetic as it is, that I've never driven a stick before.

In that case, maybe a new Saleen wouldn't be the car of choice to learn on. I must teach my wife to drive a stick when my GT comes in. I thhink I'll leave that to my father- he's a patient man, and a professional driver.
