Roush, Steeda, Saleen, etc...
i talked to someone at steeda... and he said theres no concrete plans yet. they havent even started to work on it yet. my bet is that they will something mid to late 05. as far as the others like roush or saleen... no idea. but its a competitive war... whoever pulls first wins. my guess is that roush will pull out stuff first.
Those that went to the 40th in Nashville actually saw updated pics from Roush Performance. I HIGHLY doubt they'd put out something as ugly as the gold monstrosity posted earlier in this thread. Unfortunately my fellow Roush drivers over at fnsweet.com are pretty tight lipped about the pics they saw, and I missed the 40th.

From previous discussions, I got the impression that Roush's aftermarket involvement would be limited to selling performance parts and body kit, while eliminating modding and reselling cars.

I meant for the plans for the 2005 and beyond. Someone posted details about a conversation with a Roush rep during a Ford event, and the rep told him Roush was leaving that side of the business due to competition and revenues. I believe that this took place about 3 months ago.

Q. Will Roush Performance produce a Roush edition of the 2005 Mustang?
A. We are working on a package for the the '05 Mustang. As we have updates, we will be sure to post them on this website.

That's great. I'd take Roush over Saleen or Steeda any day.
